Creative Play Awards 2013 – Winners announced!
Winners of the 2013 Creative Play Awards announced
After months of rigorous product testing, the prestigious 2013 Creative Play Awards results have been announced and will be published in the Winter issue of Creative Steps magazine, along with the www.creativesteps.co.uk website and on social media platforms.
The Creative Play Awards are the only awards designed specifically to recognise excellence in creative play products, kits and teaching resources. Each product was tested by three independent judges – parents, childcare professionals, nursery practitioners and primary school teachers. The results recognise the best products available to enhance creative development in young children and are beneficial to the consumer when making purchasing decisions.
Dawn Hopley, editor of Creative Steps commented: “We are again delighted with the number of companies who entered products this year, proving that these awards are a desired addition to the creative play sector. The quality of entries was again extremely high, recognizing the importance the toy industry places on encouraging learning through creative play.”
Now in their sixth year, the Awards are sponsored and organised by Creative Steps magazine, a quarterly publication for adults promoting creative play as vital in a child’s development. The magazine is an essential source of inspiration for parents, childcarers, teachers and early years practitioners.
